Tattoos: One, inner left wrist; symbol of the Kiantje—a diamond with a snake inside it. (see journal for a picture of it)

Personality: Loner. Hunter. Strong. Mean when she needs to be—professional killer. Fiercely protective and loyal. Does not suffer fools and is not afraid to fight to get what she needs—or wants.
Quirks/Traits: Lapses into Roma, her native tongue, when she’s exasperated, can’t think of the English words, or is otherwise distracted. Carries two daggers with her at all times that she’s had since she was mortal. Raises one eyebrow, often without even thinking about it.
Likes: People being afraid of her. Weapons. Post-it notes (ask, it’s a funny story). Black. Jack Daniels.
Dislikes: Skirts. Saerian. Anyone who hurts those she cares about. Her boss, Joe. Angel, for what he did to her people (gypsies).
Obsessions: Finding out more about her family and her maker.
Friends: She probably doesn’t think she has any, but Anita counts as one. They worked together, they drink together, and they’re pretty close, considering both of their personalities. Also, she has a vampire friend who’s a singer in Vegas that calls often.
Enemies: Saerian. Angelus.
Love Interest:

Lindsey McDonald. Once talked into finding inventive ways to hurt Phaedra by Saerian, he's now the only person in the world that makes her feel like she's not three centuries old.

History: the short version: Phaedra was born into a gypsy camp in the year 1700—the only daughter in a family of men. Early on, she showed signs of skill in fighting, and some traces of psychic ability. For these reasons, her father trained her as a warrior, grooming her to be a part of the Kiantje—the tribe’s sacred protectorate. When she was finally initiated, and given the order’s tattoo, Phaedra found out the real deal: the order hunted vampires.

After a local and particularly powerful vampire killed one of her brothers and kidnapped the gypsy children, Phaedra, her father, and another brother tracked the vampire. They found him, or, rather, he found them first. He killed Phaedra’s father and brother while she slept, and conned her into believing she was saving herself by drinking from him.

Newly turned and completely confused, Phaedra found herself running from the same order she’d served.

Fastforward. Her order, still in tact, found a way to contact her; Angelus, a vampire of a different kind, had killed one of their favorite daughters, a princess of the tribe. Could Phaedra help?

Hell yes.

She tracked Angelus, and chased him back to the gypsy camp, where he was re-ensouled. After that, she left for the United States, settling in NYC. Soon after the move, she was recruited by a firm of hitmen. The firm is staffed by vampires and has almost no competition in the city.

Now, she’s a professional killer, and damn near unkillable herself.

Talents: Deadly in every way possible with her daggers. Near perfect aim with a gun. Can read people’s minds/send her thoughts to them.
Strengths: Super-strength. Preternatural speed.
Weaknesses: Fire. Sunlight. Mention of her family. And, apparently, a nice southern drawl…
Long-Term Goals: Find and destroy Saerian. Help keep Hellmouth under control.
Short Term Goals: Make it through the night.
